I love to “Drink Pink” . . . with balancing herbal infusions! My favorite “Drink Pink” is an infusion of RED CLOVER (about a handful dried) , HIBISCUS (3-4 dried blossoms) and ROSE PETALS (small dried handful). Heat a kettle of hot water to boil. Add these herbs to a large mason jar. Carefully (its hot!) pour the heated water over the herbs and let steep for at least 2 hours - overnight.
Drink a little bit through the days ahead . . . or mix with some sparkling water for a nice non-alcoholic cocktail.
COLOR THERAPY (Chromotherapy) - this beautiful red/pink color (nearly ruby red!) helps to stimulate action, inspiration. It can evoke sensations of grounding, earth and is a healing color.
Red clover — traditionally used as a source of isoflavones (phytoestrogens) and commonly taken for menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes. Evidence for symptom relief is mixed. 🌺 Hibiscus — rich in anthocyanin antioxidants. Hibiscus tea has some of the better evidence among herbal teas for producing a modest reduction in blood pressure in some people. 🌹 Rose petals — traditionally used for calming, digestion, and mild soothing effects. They contain antioxidant polyphenols, although clinical evidence for specific health benefits is limited. (of course, these are not medical statements . . . do check with your physician if you have any doubts if these herbs are right for you to drink)
