The seven pathways to embodiment in the yogaSOMATICS practice

We will explore seven gentle pathways towards embodiment through the body, the senses, the heart and movement, reconnecting with an inner experience of presence and depth.

yogaSOMATICS asana and movement

Our bodies are naturally rooted in the present moment. Through gentle stretches, fluid movements, and soft attention to the myofascial web, we awaken body sensations that make us feel good. This approach creates an inner space of trust and grounded presence.

The Breath

Listening to the natural rhythm of your breath and the pauses between inhalation and exhalation offers a delicate and intimate way to calm the mind. You’ll learn a sensitive, meditative approach to breathing.

Relaxation

Relaxation is the foundation of all meditative practices—relaxing the body, the heart, and the thinking mind. Through guided relaxation and body-scan practices, we return to our natural state of ease.

The Subtle Body & Energy work

We are much more than we can “see” with our eyes. Our practices gently open the felt-sense to one´s own etheric/life energy field, chakras and energy streams. This understanding is based on the teachings of Irish healer, Bob Moore and ancient healing texts.

Meditation

We explore how to create a safe and sensitive atmosphere for cultivating a serene and embodied meditation (sitting, walking, laying down) practice.

Sound, Silence, Sensing

Through the sense of hearing, we open into panoramic listening, a practice of receiving resonant sounds and the silence between them. This opens new perspectives in meditative presence without labeling or attaching to sensory impulses.

The Heart, Empathy & Relating

And there is always the HEART at the heart of it all. We bring the energy of empathy, gratitude, acceptance and compassion towards each of these pathways. Nothing to fix, change, or make a project of . . . instead new ways to meet ourselves and others with a honest, empathetic attitude.
