SATURDAY PRACTICE DAY: Let us start with the heart. ❤️

Our day together will be include the mindful sensing and drinking of a cup of beautiful lovingly prepared ceremonial cacao, gentle yogaSOMATICS movement, enjoying the silence with mindfulness practices and deep guided relaxation.
After learning a little bit about the history, benefits and unique qualities of holistic ceremonial cacao, you will enjoy a warm cup of cacao lovingly prepared by Ateeka using only organic and natural vegan ingredients (havremelk and a little natural sweetener). With the beautiful cacao in our systems, we then move into guided yogaSOMATICS movement, mindfulness and relaxation.
As ceremonial cacao is resonant with the heart . . . our entire day and weekend will touch into the theme of the heart. Practices of attuning to a felt-sense of the RESONANT FIELD of your own HEART and the energy streams that support flow in the HEART.
A practice supported with ceremonial cacao is grounding for your body . . . opening for your senses . . . and can offer a state of wakeful calm and a sensation of openness. It is said to be a “medicine of the heart” as the natural bio-components (theobromine) in the unprocessed cacao create a natural circulation of blood flow and relaxation.
SUNDAY PRACTICE DAY: The ❤️ Heart of RELAXATION

In this Sunday morning workshop, Ateeka will share a deep dive into yogaSOMATICS RESTORATIVE practice . . . with a view towards loving-kindness towards ourselves and others. Ola will share a mindfulness session with the theme of resting into the heart.
While our cacao ceremony practice will be on Saturday . . there is sure to be a little taste of cacao somewhere in the midst of this morning class as well.
WHO ARE THESE PRACTICE DAYS FOR? Everyone is welcome to this grounding, relaxing (and DELICIOUS) day. Those new to cacao, yoga or meditation are very welcome and will find the practice to be accessible and sensory oriented! Experienced yoga practitioners and teachers may find this class to be inspiring, supporting and a good way to simply give a “treat” of practice to themselves.
