Arm & Shoulder Unwinding
This last month, I have been very grateful to give lots of attention to my shoulders, arms and hands in my own practice.
I find that creating soft, wide, expansive shaping with my arms . . . both in the space around me and also supported by Earth is a very important practice for keeping balance.
The digital world (smartphones, AI, hours at screens) can be very narrowing for the body . . . and too intense for the head energy. Too much energy with out the space to circulate can create some states such as anxiety, unease, body bracing, headaches, irritibility and more. (I am sure you know what I am talking about)
So, lets give ENERGY some SPACE TO MOVE!
Arm movements give some space for the body to widen to its natural space . . . to let energy flow and circulate.
This is a 35 minute practice of FASCIAL UNWINDING for your arms, shoulders and hands specifically, but that also gives a nice effect of circulation and grounding at the same time for all the body. Adapt to the shoulder work as you need, never pushing . .. but enjoying more space.
